This symposium represents a new round of discussion and collaboration to characterize the variants of the Vaca Muerta play through different studies authored by leading experts in its exploration and development.
The symposium will focus on the territorial division of the play into domains, based on rock properties, stress conditions, and fluid characteristics that influence productivity and have an impact on operational and business decisions.
The program will include comprehensive papers authored by multi-company teams, which will define the framework and criteria for the subdivision, as well as area-specific papers developed using a common template to ensure consistent comparisons across areas. Comparative tables will be generated for the indicators that describe the exploration and development status of each domain and the variables that control its productivity and potential.
Participation in the symposium will be by invitation only, bringing together teams of experts in every sector and discipline.
The ultimate goal is to produce a robust regional synthesis that improves the understanding of the play and guides more precise development strategies, in line with the geological characteristics of each domain.
