"Innovation and Technology to boost the Future of Reservoirs and Energetic Transition"
Formations’ assessment is permanently looking out for new technologies; advanced profiles are being assessed, and lab measurements are carried out to obtain an accurate representation of the subsurface petrophysical properties.
Assessment tools, such as machine learning, neuronal networks and enhancement algorithms are used to manage huge amounts of data.
Profiling and interpretation tools are continually adapted to the reservoir’s specific nature, whether they are shale, low porosity/permeability qualities (tight), naturally fractured, or minerally complex.
In view of the current dynamics, knowledge thus acquired is applied to assessing the geological formations’ feasibility of storing CO2, H and other gases, as well as to lithium identification, thus contributing to a more sustainable energy matrix.
Formations’ assessment is positioned at an early stage of the hydrocarbon companies’ chain value and energy transition projects.
