Posters are an ideal space where colleagues or the general public can meet to exchange ideas, experiences and points of view in a relaxed atmosphere.
Since time is not a constraint, there’s greater interaction with visitors, as well as the possibility to show material that needs to be exhibited with further detail (maps, seismic cross-sections, profiles, rock samples, cores, official plans of hydrocarbon activity, national and international calls for tender, research projects, etc.) or additional information that while contributing to the debate may have been left out for confidentiality reasons or the lack of publication permits.
The Organizing Committee will require that certain design aspects related to the construction of posters be considered by their authors. These guidelines will not only contribute to achieve a more attractive presentation but will also help with organizing information and granting access thereto, particularly when the author is not around. People will be able to view their posters without the need of an oral explanation.
Posters will be exhibited during the entire day so that the interested attendees can request further information on each work. The exhibition will begin on the Opening Day.
The authors shall be required to attend on the assigned day during at least one hour in the morning and one hours in the afternoon in order to interact with the public, answer enquiries and exchange opinions.
